About the Treatment
What is Profhilo and Profhilo Structura?
Profhilo is a hybrid hyaluronic acid treatment that spreads through the skin to deeply hydrate and stimulate collagen and elastin, improving firmness, elasticity and glow rather than adding volume.
Profhilo Structura is a thicker-viscosity evolution of the same technology, formulated to offer a subtle lifting effect alongside hydration — popular for areas that need a little more structure, such as the jawline and cheekbones.
At Dr Alexa, we choose the right formulation — or a combination of both — based on your skin quality and goals, discussed fully at your consultation.

Questions
Frequently Asked
What's the difference between Profhilo and Profhilo Structura?
Profhilo spreads through the skin for hydration and glow, while Profhilo Structura has a thicker consistency designed to also offer a subtle lifting effect. Your practitioner recommends the right one, or a combination, at consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Both are typically given as a course of two treatments around four weeks apart, followed by maintenance roughly every six months.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. Small bumps at the injection points settle within a day or two, and you can return to normal activities straight away.
When will I see results?
Results build gradually as the product stimulates your skin, with the full effect visible around four weeks after your course.
Does it hurt?
Most people find it very tolerable; a fine needle is used and any discomfort is brief.
